In 2016, an exceptional Oriental Cultural Day was organized in the municipality of Campllong, in Girona.

Members of several Dojos from Girona, Barcelona, Galicia, Germany, Ireland and Japan participated, and more than 200 people attended.

La Jornada consisted of a museum with more than 300 works of Japanese art, with hundreds of years of history, from the Nara period around the year 700 to the Meiji period 1868 and today. An exhibition and presentation of Japanese Forging by two prestigious master blacksmiths Ken Yoshida Kanehisa (ambassador of the Japanese city of Seki) and Masaya Ichimon, which ended with a demonstration of Tameshigiri (Japanese sword cutting), by Master Kennichi Someya Bujinkan Daishihan and Menkyo Kaiden in Battojutsu and Togakure Ryu Ninja Biken.

The day closed with two musical performances: a multicultural, documentary and interactive concert "Music from East to West" directed by the great artist Yerko Fuenzalida (https://www.facebook.com/yerkofuenzalida) and a classical music performance and modern by the fantastic baritone Juan Carlos Esteve (https://www.facebook.com/juancarlos.estevecalero) and the pianist Montse Pujol.
